Join us for the 33rd Anniversary of the Mora Half-Marathon!

$Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: C:\work\morahalfmarathon\graphics\runners.jpg$ An hour and a half drive north of the Twin Cities provides a participant with a beautiful 13.1 mile run through the Kanabec County countryside and a good tune-up for the Twin Cities Marathon.

The race will start on Union Street in downtown Mora, Minnesota. The course is all asphalt, with about 70 percent of the race being through a rural setting with several rolling hills. This is a TAC Certified Course (MN-96010-RR) with timing and results done by Apple Raceberry Jam. The finish is at a lakeside park and picnic area.

The race is supported by water/sport drink stations at the 2.9; 5.1; 7.5; 9.5 and 11.5 mile markers and at the finish line. There are portable toilets along the course at the 4; 7.5; and 10-mile markers.

AWARDS

13.1 Mile Half Marathon:
Medals to the top three finishers in every category.
Trophies for: top 3 males and 3 females,

5K Race (8:15 A.M.): Medals for top 3 Finishers in every category. Trophies for top male and top female finishers.

Again this Year - "Dry weave" or "moisture wicking" completion shirts for every finisher. Guaranteed sizes for runners registered before August 13, 2010.
