 An
hour and a half drive north of the Twin Cities provides a participant
with a beautiful 13.1 mile run through the Kanabec County countryside
and a good tune-up for the Twin Cities Marathon.
The race will start
on Union Street in downtown Mora, Minnesota. The course is all
asphalt, with about 70 percent of the race being through a rural
setting with several rolling hills. This is a TAC Certified Course
(MN-96010-RR) with timing and results done by Apple Raceberry
Jam. The finish is at a lakeside park and picnic area.
The race is supported
by water/sport drink stations at the 2.9; 5.1; 7.5; 9.5 and 11.5
mile markers and at the finish line. There are portable
toilets along the course at the 4; 7.5; and 10-mile markers.
