Challenge Your Endurance
Start (13.1) 7:45 A.M. Start (5K). FREE kids race immediately after the start of the 5K. Line up behind the 5K racers by 7:45 and listen for your own start!
Race Events: 5K Run/Walk & 13.1 Mile Run
Entry Fees: $35 for Half Marathon and $25 for 5K. Prices go up after August 3rd.
Advance Registration Due By: August 3, 2023
Race Shirts provided for all participants pre-registered by August 3, 2023
We have hired a new timing company for 2023. Check back on bib pick up and in person registration information for details on time and place.
After course certification in the summer of 2023 all details will be updated on this site (maps, elevation, start/finish area, & water stops).
Race Information & Details
Timing
Official timing for the half marathon will end 3 hours and 15 minutes after the start (15 minute per mile pace). You are welcome to complete your race if you are on the course past then; however, there will no longer be support, timing, or water stops available.
Water/Gatorade Stops
Stops located at miles 2, 4, approx. 6.5-8.5-10.5, and 12 for 2022. Water stop for the 5K at the 2 mile. Mileage stops will be updated and added to the course map once the course is certified for 2023.
Awards
Half Marathon:
Trophies awarded to the top overall three males and three females.
Medals to the top three individual age group finishers.
Medals to the top male and female Kanabec County finishers.
5K:
Trophies awarded to the top overall male and female.
Medals to the top three age group finishers
Top local (Kanabec County) overall male and female finishers.
Facilities
The tour will start and end at the Vasaloppet Nordic Center. The Nordic Center has men’s and women’s changing rooms, showers, and ample space indoors and outdoors to visit, unwind and refuel after the ride.
